The Sig Sauer P230 is a semi-automatic pistol designed and manufactured by Sig Sauer. It was first introduced in the 1980s and saw a limited production run until 2000, when it was replaced by the P232. The P230 features a blowback design, a single-stack magazine, and a fixed barrel. It is chambered for the .32 ACP and .380 ACP cartridges and has a double-action/single-action trigger system. The P230 also features a safety/decocker lever that can be operated with either hand. Its compact size and ease of use made it a popular choice for concealed carry and law enforcement use. However, its limited magazine capacity and lack of modern features have made it somewhat outdated compared to newer firearms.
